SSD disks: What they are and how they work

SSD diskSSD stands for Solid State Drive. It is a type of storage device that uses NAND-based flash memory to store data. SSDs are faster and more reliable than traditional hard disk drives (HDDs) because they have no moving parts, which means they can access stored data much faster. Additionally, SSDs use less power and generate less heat than HDDs. They are commonly used in laptops, desktop computers, servers, and other devices that require fast, reliable storage.
