WiFi 6E: How it works?

Posted on January 31, 2023

WiFi 6EWiFi 6E is a version of the WiFi 6 standard that operates in the 6GHz frequency band, providing wider bandwidth and more available channels than the previous 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. This results in faster speeds, lower latency and increased capacity for supporting more devices in a network.

WiFi 6E works by using the newly available 6GHz frequency band for wireless communication. It uses the same basic technology as WiFi 6, but with the addition of new features that take advantage of the wider bandwidth and additional available channels in the 6GHz band. This includes higher data rates, improved network efficiency, better coexistence with other wireless technologies and more. The goal of WiFi 6E is to provide better performance and improved user experience compared to earlier WiFi standards.
