Mercedes-Benz has announced the reveal of the redesigned GLE, similar to the GLE Coupe, on January 31st. The new GLE-Class, previously known as the ML-Class, was first introduced in October 2018 and featured a more sleek design and advanced equipment, including a plug-in hybrid option.
Last year, prototypes undergoing testing for the model’s redesign were captured by camera lenses. Recently, the German company released a dark photo offering a glimpse of the updated model’s front and rear design. The new GLE will feature new bumpers, updated lights and dashboard, and an improved level of equipment. The GLE Coupe will also see similar changes, including the placement of the rear lights in the middle of the vehicle rather than at the base.
Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will officially unveil the redesigned GLE on January 31st this year. The new GLE will be available with different engine options, including a 258-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, a 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder with 367hp, and a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that delivers 490hp. The updated SUV model will also be available in AMG versions, including the GLE 53 AMG with a 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder that delivers 435 horsepower, and the GLE 63 S which is expected to have a twin-turbocharged 611-horsepower V8. On January 31st, we will have a complete understanding of the car’s aesthetics, equipment, and engines.
