What to know about milk

Posted on November 5, 2025

Let’s talk about a popular food that is being discussed a lot and maybe you didn’t know how it affects negatively your mood. It’s not sugar, it’s not coffee, not even gluten. It’s a food that has been sold to you as natural, complete, good for health.

And it’s certainly in your fridge. Do you think it helps to stay in shape? It does exactly the opposite.

It’s the industrial pasteurized cow’s milk.

Modern milk, that of overfed cows and treated with hormones, contains casomorphins, peptides, which act like weak opioids on your brain.

As a result, you feel a little calm, a pseudo-comfort effect. But behind, your dopamine drops. You become more irritable, more tired, less concentrated.

Add to that the mal-digested residual lactose in 70% of adults. This fermenting sugar in your intestine feeds the bad bacteria, triggers a discreet inflammation that disturbs the production of serotonin.

And remember, 90% of serotonin, the hormone of good mood, is made in your intestine.

Industrial milk gives you a micro-shot of comfort before taking over your morale. A vicious circle that millions of people live without ever making the link.

Do you want milk? Take the whole thing and in small quantities. Kefir local milk.

But this sterilized white liquid, UHT, sold as healthy, it’s marketing, not nutrition.

You thought it was your stress that made you irritable? No, it’s maybe your morning bowl.
