Ο Άνταμ Σλέσινγκερ τραγουδιστής του αμερικανικού συγκροτήματος της ροκ Fountains of Wayne πέθανε από κοροναϊό.

Ο τραγουδιστής και τραγουδοποιός, γνωστός από την επιτυχία της μπάντας, πέθανε σε ηλικία 52 χρόνων, την Τετάρτη το πρωί λόγω επιπλοκών που σχετίζονται με τον κοροναϊό, σύμφωνα με το Billboard.

«Όπως γνωρίζετε πολλοί από εσάς, ο Άνταμ είχε νοσηλευτεί με COVID-19 και παρ ‘ όλο που είχε παρουσιάσει κάποιες μικρές βελτιώσεις τις τελευταίες ημέρες, η κατάσταση του ήταν κρίσιμη και τελικά ήταν αδύνατο να ανακάμψει από τις επιπλοκές του COVID-19» δήλωσε σε ανακοίνωση η δικηγόρος της μπάντας, Τζέιμι Χέρμαν, σύμφωνα με CNN.
