Dave Greenfield : «Έφυγε» από κοροναϊό ο κιμπορντίστας των Stranglers

Την τελευταία του πνοή άφησε ο κιμπορντίστας των Stranglers, Dave Greenfield στα 71 του χρόνια, χάνοντας τη μάχη με τον κοροναϊό.

Όπως έγινε γνωστό ο κιμπορντίστας του βρετανικού συγκροτήματος «The Stranglers», Dave Greenfield, έφυγε από τη ζωή σε ηλικία 71 χρόνων, την Κυριακή (3/5) έχοντας νικηθεί από τον κορονοϊό.

Ο μουσικός με καταγωγή από το Μπράιτον της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας ξεκίνησε την επαγγελματική του πορεία στη μουσική από την μπάντα «Rusty Butler», ενώ έγινε γνωστός στο παγκόσμιο κοινό μέσα από το ροκ συγκρότημα «The Stranglers».

Ο Dave Greenfield ήταν ο άνθρωπος πίσω από την ιδέα της μουσικής του «Golden Brown», της πιο εμπορικής επιτυχίας του συγκροτήματος.

They were an incredible singles band with more than 20 wonderful singles from (Get A) Grip (On Yourself) and Peaches at the beginning straight through to Golden Brown, European Female and Always The Sun.

They also made incredible albums and from Rattus Norvegicus through Dreamtime they never got it wrong.

At a time when they sang #nomoreheroes Hugh Cornwell, JJ Burnel, Jet Black and Dave Greenfield were all heroes! Rest In Peace Dave and thank you for the music.
