Astrid Kirchherr : «Έφυγε» η φωτογράφος που απαθανάτισε τους Beatles για πρώτη φορά

Πέθανε, σε ηλικία 81 χρονών η Astrid Kirchherr, η φωτογράφος που με τον φακό της απαθανάτισε για πρώτη φορά τους Beatles.

Ο θάνατός της επιβεβαιώθηκε με άρθρο της γερμανικής εφημερίδας «Die Zeit», όπου σημειωνόταν ότι η Kirchherr απεβίωσε μετά από «σύντομη, σοβαρή ασθένεια».

Τα πρώτα «κλικ» των θρυλικών Σκαθαριών Αφού παρακολούθησε κάποιες συναυλίες των Beatles στο Αμβούργο, τη γενέτειρά της, το 1960 -η σύνθεση του συγκροτήματος ήταν τότε ο John Lennon, ο Paul McCartney, ο George Harrison, ο ντράμερ Pete Best και ο μπασίστας και «πέμπτο» Σκαθάρι, Stuart Sutcliffe-, τους έπεισε να την ακολουθήσουν σε ένα κοντινό λούνα παρκ, όπου τραβήχτηκαν οι πρώτες φωτογραφίες του συγκροτήματος.

After meeting The Beatles in a club in her hometown in 1960, where the band were performing after being brought to the city by original Jacaranda owner Allan Williams, Astrid was to play a pivotal role in developing the then five-piece outfit’s unique visual style.
